Bushcraft is a term made popular by the likes of Ray Mears, Lofty Wiseman, Lars Falt and Bear Grills. Most of them have all had handmade bushcraft knives designed for or by them. The most famous of all is the Woodlore. This is Ray Mears bushcraft knife and was brought to life by UK knife maker Alan Wood. It is probably the most copied bushcraft knife in the world, with many people making exact replicas of this knife.
My handmade bushcraft knife, ‘The Bushcrafter’ pays homage to The Woodlore but has subtle differences, mainly in the handle shape. I design my handmade bushcraft knives based on my experience as a bushcraft instructor.
This section also showcases other knives that are handy for bushcraft such as belt knives, around the neck carry knives, and knives designed for field dressing both large and small game.
